Tool has been a very influential band over the last 20 years not only for bands, but aspiring artists. With a different approach to old concepts, their music holds a very mysterious independence to it that many other bands to to capture, but fall short with. Starting out as a heavy early 1990's metal band, they started to venture more into an Art Rock style that seems to have stuck around and made them who they are today as a band. While an album as not been released by them in 11 years, their live shows are a constant reminder that they are around and here to stay for a while longer. The show I will be covering is from their tour in 2016. They hadn't toured in a couple years and it was a very hot subject not only among Tool fans, but the music scene in general.
